BackerKit Funds Received

I just got an e-mail earlier today that the BackerKit funds will be released tomorrow. I went out of pocket to buy the maps and the printed books, but I have been waiting for those funds so I didn't have to go out of pocket on shipping as well. But now... I get to pay for shipping tomorrow and get your packages in the mail! It's going to feel very good to get that done.

Just for Fun

If you guys are interested, we've started testing something that may become part of the Head Writing Geek's Patreon or possibly something we just do for fun and practice. But, it's a quick 1-minute survey that generates a customized narrative based on your responses. Most of it is very basic (we're only testing), but it does include a dice roll and some morality questions with a potential of four possible endings. It asks for your e-mail but, I promise, I will never use it for anything other than this automated response.

BackerKit Surveys

Thank you all so much! 91% of you have completed your Surveys so there are less than 15 people left. Please do so within the next four days, because we are locking orders on the 30th and will begin processing everything.

The proofs from DriveThruRPG arrived and they look great! I haven't seen anything that needs to be adjusted so we can keep moving ahead as planned. For any of you that have backed our games in the past, this one is (by far) the most professional looking product we've ever published. I am so excited about it. We've had a lot of hands in the pot on this project I've learned a great deal (especially about InDesign), and it's been a long but exciting adventure. Can't wait to ship them to you all.

Again, I apologize for the delay. I don't like to make excuses... but there are lots of personal reasons why things are so slow. Mostly just a very demanding schedule and trying to do most of this on my own. Anyway...

Pre-Order Store

Our Pre-Order Store has been set up and is currently under review by BackerKit. Once approved, I'll start sending the smoke-screen Surveys out. At some point, they will let me finish sending the rest of the surveys and we'll get stuff going!

On top of your original pledge, you will have an opportunity to snag:

• Printed versions of the Rulebook and the Adventure; these will be offered to all backers AT COST and at a discount for newcomers.
• Free Print and Play 2D miniatures to accompany the game.
• Your choice of cloth or paper maps, printed on 11x17 stock. The cloth is a flag-like material that is crease-resistant; some of you who backed Adventure Post may have already seen something like it. The paper is a premium cardstock.

Additional Artwork

We didn't feel satisfied with the layout and have hired Marina Sparrow to do three more pieces for us. The first two turned out fantastic!

Pre-Made Characters

All of the pre-made characters are done and will be included with the adventure. You'll be able to make your own... but if you don't want to, use one of our five.
